This is our very own 3M’s Fantasy League.

7th Grand Prix at Swansea Bay 5K (the 6th race to count in our Fantasy League)

The points in the Age Grade are used in our scoring mechanism for the FL, and we have a new stage winner in 'Saga Harriers' managed by Dean Webster.

'Lemon Cheesecake' were 2nd and 'Red Card Runners' 3rd.

Overall - 'Pavement Pounders' managed by Steve Thomas maintain top place, with 'Spell Chequer Wun' (Rob Sandles) and 'Red Card Runners' (John Holohan) closing the gap.

6th Grand Prix at Crofty (the 5th race to count in our Fantasy League)

Drama in the Fantarsy League as 'Spell Checker Wun' wins latest round with a record 399 points. The team managed by Rob Sandles came up trumps as John Sanderson limped across the line.

Overall places were turned on their head as 'Jamo's Jewells' dropped from 1st to 5th, 'Pavement Pounders' leap back to 1st, followed by 'LindyLoo Loafers' and 'Spell Checker Wun'.

With the holiday season upon us, expect to see total chaos in this league over the next few 3/4 races.

He Who Dares………………...

5th Grand Prix at Singleton Park (the 4th race to count in our Fantasy League)

In this race the winner is Lucky Lot managed by Martin Nicholls. With Louise Miskell & Sue Davies returning to Grand Prix action they helped 'Lucky Lot' squirt to the top of the field. A crisp £5 is on its way to Martin.

Overall leader is now 'Jamo's Jewells' managed by James Davies.

We also had a first in the FL with 'TK Max Expensive Bin' managed by Caroline Sandles scoring a whopping fat ZERO points. Christina, Pilot, Henry & husband Rob all shamefully contributing buggerall to Caroline's team.

The transfer season is now open and a communication will come out shortly with more details on that.

4th Grand Prix at Bynea (the 3rd race to count in our Fantasy League)

We have a shock winner after round 3 (league started from 2nd Grand Prix).

Cath Lloyd-Bennett put in her first Grand Prix appearance following calf problems and helped “Still f***ing 9th in the Castles” managed by Dewi West to win Dream Team of round 3.  £5 goes to Dewi for managing the winning team.  Runner up just 2 points behind was “Spell Chequer Wun” managed by Rob Sandles.

The top 3 overall are now:-

Only 3 teams had all of their 5 runners running !

£5 goes to Steve for managing the winning team.

The top 3 overall are now:-

  • Pavement Pounders (Steve Thomas)

2nd Grand Prix at Pontypridd  (the1st race to count in our Fantasy League)

There were lots of what if's and buts about this opening race.

If Mr West hadn't fallen ill the day before, then 'Spell Checker Wun' managed by Rob Sandles might have won.

Winning team for round 1 is 'LindyLoo Loafers' managed by Linda Rees whose team consisted of Christina Smith, Steve Thomas (3M), Clive Greaves, Del Eyre & John Sanderson, scoring a rather handsome 394 points.
Outstandingly worst team of round 1 was 'Spell Checker Too' managed by Rob Sandles with a pathetic 86 (Eighty Six) points
